The series consists of six titles:

 

At the Post Office: Children go to a post office, where they make choices and purchases, weigh their parcels, and post letters.

 

Designed to complement the role-play area in the classroom, each CD-ROM allows children to use a computer in the way they observe them being used in real life. Children are encouraged to express their own feelings and perform role-plays based around specific situations. Each CD-ROM is accompanied by a book of photocopiable activity sheets. The programs and linked activity sheets provide children with opportunities for learning across the six curriculum areas of the Foundation Stage – particularly communication, language and literacy and mathematical development. Teacher settings allow the program to be modified to suit a range of pupils’ needs.

 

At the Post Office:


•  provides opportunities to develop simple money-related skills
•  broadens the experience of modelling through play

•  includes a simple text entry facility and user-friendly interface
•  extensive range of support materials.
